Easter Wishes - Papertrey Ink + Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers

Back for another Easter share today. A bit late, but I"m still feeling super festive.
Before the weekend, I whipped up a batch of colorful Easter eggs, and I was super inspired to create a card with the same theme. I think this watercolored Easter egg is only made better with the fuzzy bunny ears...don't you think?

I used several layers of paper - I thought pink, yellow, green and purple were awfully cute + super Spring appropriate, and nothing gets my heart beating faster than polka dots & stripes, so easy decision there.
Before putting all the layers together, I stamped a few little florals on the Rustic White cardstock base, using the Mini Blooms stamp set.  I stamped in colors of Blueberry SkyMelon BerryHawaiian Shores, and Green Parakeet.

Top of the card, I've added a tiny bloom & crystal button with a bit of paint and a few dots.

I used a really pretty, detailed egg image to stamp + emboss before using some Zig Clean Color markers to add splashes of Spring shades to the floral design, adding a lot of water to achieve a soft, pastel look. I backed the egg with green cardstock, because you know how much I love layers :)

All around the egg, I used various leaf diecuts, from PTI's Happiness in Bloom and The Best is Yet to Be, adding some white ink to the centers of the leaves. The sentiments are from Papertrey Ink's Sweet Spring and Mini Blooms.

That's all for today's share...Wishing you all a lovely day!
