Maja Design Project

~Jar Full of Buttons~

I bet you did not think you'd see me back so quickly!

I have a Maja Design project to share with you all today, which also happens to feature my newest addition the my Etsy shoppe: the delicate pastel buttons, which I have just been itching to use.

I thought they were just the perfect thing to perk up the little paper jar, because what crafty soul doesn't love an old mason jar filled with buttons?

To create the back of the card, I used the very beautiful yellow pattern, 2nd of April from the Vintage Spring Basics collection.

Over that, I layered a delicate paper doily, along with another patterned paper circle.

I die-cut the pretty jar shape using the Enjoying the Fragrance print from the Sofiero collection, and then decorated the inside of the mason jar with lots of teensy little handmade buttons and liquid pearls.

Just above the mason jar, I added a little die-cut circle with a heart cut-out, as well as two more strips of pretty paper, and another dotted clay button.

This card took no time at all to whip up, and it just goes to show that when working with papers that pull together this beautifully, crafting is oh-so-very-easy.

Thank you so much for joining me and I hope you have a lovely day,

*Ivana*
