~Have a {love} Lovely Day~

Oh how the time flies when you're having fun....Seriously...These lazy summer days have been catching up with me! Ok, well, they have not been completely lazy....Actually, in between all the fun, I have been super duper busy preparing for some exciting things...Which I PROMISE to share with you soon! :)

Meanwhile, I thought I better pop in and show you this lil  card I created with some of the older-release stamps from The Craft's Meow...Or else you might think I've completely given up on blogging!
Rest assured...I haven't...The old mind has just been elsewhere these days!

Don't you just love the beautiful little banners, that little branch and the cute sayings...Sooo adorable! I used two TCM stamp sets for this card....Lovely Birds and It's a Banner Day.

I wanted to use bright and cheery colors for this card...So I dug out some Echo Park paper (Playground Collection) and I knew it would be perfect for this card!

I stamped the banners using red and blue ink and the sentiment using black ink...Which I then cut out - as carefully as my lil fingers and patience would allow me....

I tied a lovely cotton ribbon bow (I really luv this stuff b/c it is so versatile)...Then I added a bit of blue and beige ink to the edges, just to make it less stark :) Topped off with some My Mind's Eye bakers twine and a lovely little Webster's Pages sparkler...Yummo!

I added a bit of ivory paint around the edges of the card and a few pen dashes to resemble stitching (still in desperate need of a sewing machine)....

I hope you are all having lovely summer (wherever you are)!
I'll be back soon with more projects and my exciting news!
