~A Magical Kind of Love~

The March Kit features the Once Upon a Springtime collection from Graphic 45, along with papers from the Basic Grey Curio collection...
There was something about this kit...All the pretty florals, soft colours, sweet designs of fairies and spring things...Made me feel a kind of magic...Which inspired my title for this page.
It's a layout of my sweet MIL and my darling little niece. I took this pic last fall when we did a family portrait and I just adore how it turned out.
I wanted to scrap it and give it a really 'girlie' look...The papers, embellies and all the INCREDIBLY beautiful bits in this kit worked perfectly!

Here are some close-ups. I used white liquid pearls to cover the dark green letters... I always love a pop of white in everything I create...

Here's a beautiful Prima flower...speckled with sweet glitter...so magical and beautiful...

The beautiful Graphic 45 papers lend themselves to an endless amount of possibilities...I loved cutting, pasting, stenciling and layering these gorgeous prints...

I added in some stamped images on white paper to add a bit of white throughout the page...Along with tons of fussy-cut flowers, fairies and butterflies too!

~Hi~

Here's my second creation with the kit...I loved the colour scheme of the first page, so I thought I would create a card with the same tones...

All the stunning bits on this card are from the kit...I only added a teeny bit of seam binding, a stamped image and some liquid pearls...

Here's another close-up of the beautiful Prima flower and pearl flourish, as well as the gorgeous details of the G45 paper...

~Hello~

Okay so you all know I love making cards...I know it's no surprise...And most of my cards look a lot a like...But, I really found myself stepping away from my comfort zone with this one...Okay, okay...I know I used my pearls and pretty punches...But I wanted to create something that was less girlie and more grungy, mystical and colorful...I might have not achieved exactly what I was after...But I still like the way it turned out!

Close-up of the sweet little fairy and Maya Road Chipboard butterfly from the kit...

I used another Prima flower (included in the kit) and added a stamped image from my stash...I used a My Mind's Eye stamp set for the banner and a sentiment from a Hero Arts stamp set.

~So Loved~

Last but not least, I used LG's gorgeous March sketch to create this layout...You can find the sketch at our Scrap That! community site. If you would like to win more fabulous prizes, be sure to check back for all the details to follow about our upcoming sketch contest in the month of March!

Close up of the beautiful layers of patterns and colours...

And a few little liquid pearls...

Hope you've enjoyed the reveal!

To continue on with the hop, head on over to visit the incredibly talented, wonderfully sweet (and funny!)

~So Happy Together ~ Webster's Pages

Today is a busy day! I will probably be out teaching my class by the time this is posted, but I thought I should pre-schedule this project as I posted it on Facebook already but have not yet had a chance to put it up on my blog...It's full of some of my fave Webster's goodies from the Lullaby Lane collection...

I rarely get to see my 'Nona' (grandma) and her sister, so spending time with them means the world to me...
A couple of summers ago, I visited my home, Croatia, and got to spend some much needed time with both of them. I wanted to scrap this picture but couldn't stand the thought of not displaying it for me to look at every day :)

So I decided to decorate a frame instead!
I used Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane collection papers, the 6x6 Lullaby Lane paper pad, Storyteller alphas and the Lullaby Lane vellum paper.

The stamped images are from the My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose collection.

The word 'together' is a cut-out from the Theresa Collins Giving Thanks transparency sheet.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

~XOXO~

Not much time tonight...But I thought I would pop in and quickly share a cute card I just finished up :)

Call me a hopeless romantic...But doesn't the sound of a hot air balloon, sailing in the sky, whilst enjoying some of the world's most spectacular vantage points with the one you love sound SO romantic?
Unless you are afraid of heights, that is...in which case I am sure a romantic dinner would suffice... :)
Well, I just happen to think that it would a perfectly sweet way to spend some sweet time with a loved one...Thus the inspiration for this 'xoxo' card full of love and all other precious things that run through my mind at this romantic time of year :)

Here's a close up of some Prima lace, crinkled seam binding, and a Basic Grey button that I decorated with liquid pearls...The large heart punch and smaller corner punch are both by EK Success - Martha Stewart.

To make the hot air balloon, I simply drew two pieces on some patterned paper (My Mind's Eye - Alphabet Soup) and cut them out. I connected the two pieces by drawing a line with my liquid pearls for the 'ropes'...Love how it turned out!

The 'xoxoxo' is a cut out from an ADORABLE little Webster's Pages journalling card from the Lullaby Lane collection, and the teal/white pp is from WP's Life's Portrait Collection.
The rest of the papers used on the card are by My Mind's Eye, mostly from the Alphabet Soup collection.

Will be away for the few days, so I'll be posting as soon as I return :)

Be sure to check back on the 22nd for the FAB SNEAK PEEK of the

March Scrap That! Kit!

xoxo

~Spread some Love~

Okay, I PROMISE this is my last Valentine's Day post! lol
I ~love~ this sweet and romantic day...I just can't help myself...All I want to do is spread the love....
So I created this little card as a part of a gift set, using the Echo Paper Be Mine Collection....So sweet, don't you think?

Along with the card, I decorated a teeny-weeny little pail with pretty bows and papers and sparkly rhinestones.

I filled the little pail with Hershey's Kisses, perfectly sweet lip gloss, and a heart key necklace (peeking out over the crinkled bow) :) Just a small way to let someone special know I love them :)

Here is a shot of the gift set :)

And I promise...This is the last post for today!

Sending hugs!

*Ivana*
~You Are Always in My Heart~

A little V-Day layout of my hunny and me while traveling in Europe. This pic was taken in Zadar, Croatia :) My home country...
I used Webster's Pages paper from the Hollywood Vogue Collection, Echo Park paper from the Be Mine Collection, Prima flowers and Cosmo Cricket Alphas.

I used a Tattered Angels Glimmer Screen from the Timeless Romance set to stencil a heart, which I then cut and decorated :)

I placed hearts in the white space to use as a guide for dotting my liquid pearls...This works with any type of shape if you are not so keen on 'free-handing', like me :)

The laser cut wood heart is by Kaisercraft and the felt design is by Prima (I covered mine with white crackle paint). I added bits of liquid pearls, and a few stamped images using the American Crafts One and Only Clear Stamp Set.

Hope you are all having a fab day! Sending V-Day hugs and kisses!

~Happy Love Day~
Webster's Pages

I created this little number using the Life's Portait paper collection by Webster's Pages. This is one of my absolute FAVE collections and I never tire of creating with it :) I love the subtle, pastel colors with that punch of vintage black detailing...sigh...so, so beautiful!

I used Webster's Pages Storytellers Alphas from the Hollywood Vogue Collection, and Vintage Sparklers from the WonderFall Collection :)
Like I always say, Webster's creates SUCH incredibly well coordinating products, that each line can easily be used with papers or embellies from older lines...It makes matching super easy!

I did a lot of stenciling and cutting on this project. I used the Tattered Angels Timeless Romance Glimmer Screens to trace the shapes onto the paper...Which I then cut and layered :)

I added in some vintage seam binding and a few buttons from my own collection...
This sign will go perfectly with a V-day goodie basket I am making...An absolutely sweet way to celebrate a day of love!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

~Wishing You Everything Good~
Webster's Pages

I'm back home, settled in, and soooo happy to be posting again!
Things have been hectic around our house lately, so last night I finally had a chance to sit down and scrap for a few minutes :)

I created this little number for our sweet, and incredibly talented Websters Pages DT Lead, Iris Babao Uy ! Iris is an incredible support to all of us 'newbies' over at Websters! I don't know what we would do without her kind words, support and encouragement!

So from the bottom of my heart (even though it's a little late)

I wish you a happy, happy birthday, Iris!

May the year ahead be filled with many fabulous,
happy moments!!! :)

Luv,

*Ivana*

p.s. For the card, I used Webster's Pages Hollywood Vogue papers and a beautiful Webster's Pages sparkler! The flowers on the card are from Prima and the chipboard frame is by Tattered Angels! :)

~Webster's Pages February GDT Scraplift~

This month, Webster's Pages is featuring the ever-so-talented and sweet

Joyce (a.k.a. Ashjoy)

and her gorgeous work! I love Joyce’s beautiful designs with WP products! I was so inspired while looking through her gallery that I thought I’d create this little card featuring some key design elements that Joyce uses in her creations!

I love how Joyce uses ribbon and pretty string bows to add texture and final touches to her projects! I also adore her fearless approach to cutting the gorgeous WP papers to embellish her creations! My card features a teeny bit of fussy cutting (around the frame from the Life's Portrait Collection) and both a ribbon and a string bow to emulate Joyce’s beautiful style!!!

Thanks, Joyce, for your beautiful projects and for inspiring us all!

To check out Joyce's beautiful GDT deisgns and the rest of the Design Team's lifts of Joyce's work, hop on over to the InspireME site!

I am off for the next few days and will be outta town...Will post when I'm back!
